Arabian Adventures is the region’s leading destination management company (DMC), creating memorable experiences for visitors to the UAE. It provides a complete range of professional, high quality, destination management services to customers and partners including the world’s foremost tour operators, incentive houses, meeting organisers, local corporate businesses and cruise lines. Services include Meet & Greet; Visa Assistance; Airport Transfers; Hotel Room Reservations; Event Management – planning and contracting; In-resort assistance; excursions and safari operations.

Part of the Emirates  Group, Arabian Adventures has been in operation for 25 years consistently providing a quality product and service and unparalleled access to hotel rooms inventory with more than 300,000 hotel rooms booked each year. It works closely with local authorities such as the Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in Dubai and the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA), and has established strong relationships with local suppliers.

Arabian Adventures has five specialist units: the FIT (Frequent Individual Traveller) Division, MIE (Meetings, Incentive and Events); Cruise Services; Service Delivery; and Business Development. All units are serviced by the Operations department, which manages the entire fleet of vehicles and front-line staff (airport and hotel representatives, tour guides and drivers).

To further improve efficiency in its operations and enhance business, Arabian Adventures has introduced a technology platform to provide its partners with a distinct advantage over competition.  The technology focuses on improving productivity and efficiency whilst reducing costs for both Arabian Adventures and its partners.  The technology provides, among others:

  • Access to wholesale rates to over 300+ hotels in the UAE; these are directly contracted hotels offering the best rates;
  • Dynamic and on-line pricing and live inventory control – not only for allocated rooms but also for additional rooms available from the hotels directly, ideal for peak season and last minute requests;
  • Web services that include searching, booking, retrieving, amending and cancelling
  • Administration tools for the creation of sub-users and management of rates without intervention from Arabian Adventures
  • Comprehensive hotel information and images including longitude and latitude
  • Options to book Transfers, Tours, Safaris, Excursions and Visas (if applicable)

Arabian Adventures has offices in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Fujairah on the East Coast of the UAE. Arabian Adventures works with partner associates in Oman, Qatar and Bahrain.  In addition the company boasts a network of travel shops and desks in a number of the UAE’s major hotels. It also has overseas representatives in the UK, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, and the USA in addition to dedicated sales team based in China and Russia

 

Operations Centre

In 2010, Arabian Adventures opened its state-of-the-art operations centre at Dubai Investment Park. It is designed to support the company’s rapidly growing business, and will service business requirements for the next 20 years.

Occupying 2.4 hectares, the centre provides easy access to the Northern Emirates, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.  The largest and most modern operations centre of its kind in the region, it will allow better integration of Arabian Adventures’ safari and general transportation operations.

 

CEMARS Certification

Arabian Adventures is the first DMC in the world to be awarded the internationally recognised Certified Emissions Measurement And Reduction Scheme (CEMARS) certification, which it received in 2010.

The CEMARS certification scheme is an integral brand of the internationally recognised carboNZeroCertTM programme, managed by Landcare Research NZ (LCR) - one of the world’s leading organisations in the assessment of carbon footprints and forest sinks.

CEMARS certification indicates that the GHG emissions associated with Arabian Adventures’ operations have been measured and independently verified in accordance with international standards. It also recognises the company’s commitment to continuously managing and reducing its emissions.

  • Offers an exclusive overnight camp, Arabian Dreams. An experience just like the fabled Arabian nights – this overnight safari is like no other. A 4-WD takes guests to the DDCR for a dune drive and to enjoy a falcon show. A camel ride brings guests to the camp with tented accommodation (each tent furnished with a queen-sized bed) and toilet/shower facilities. A barbecue dinner awaits guests who can also try the shisha. Request a wake-up call in the morning and view the sunrise. After a hot breakfast, a 4-WD takes guests through a wildlife drive in the DDCR, before another 4-WD takes them back to the city.
  • Brochures produced in up to 10 languages (English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Japanese, Mandarin and Korean) and promotional material provides full client information and understanding of the products

Safety, Quality and Consistency

  • The Arabian Adventures operations centre has two buildings totalling 3,500 square metres of built-up area and housing a massive warehouse; spacious office area; staff briefing, training and meeting rooms; a five-storey car park for 400 cars; inspection bays; and vehicle washing areas.  It has ancillary staff amenities such as male and female prayer rooms, a cafeteria as well as showers and rest rooms for drivers.
  • Modern fleet of air-conditioned vehicles including private cars, 4-wheel drives, touring coaches and city buses.
  • Arabian Adventures uses ‘C-Track’, a unique, sophisticated tracking system, in all of its vehicles. C-Track is a state of the art computer system that utilises local communication network  to transmit data to a 24-hour call centre.
